HOURGLASS is a sculpture made with glass, sand, and two cast objects. As you turn the hourglass, one object is revealed while the other is covered by the sand. The two cast objects within the edition are a specimen of pyrite crystal, and a miniature camera. HOURGLASS is 9.6" in height with a diameter of 4.5". It has a run-time of approximately 30 minutes. HOURGLASS is a time-keeping device that has been manufactured to the specifications of Arsham Studio. HOURGLASS comes in a studio designed housing with a semi-translucent sleeve, die-cut foam, sealing label, and a pair of white art handling gloves. This is an edition of 500 pieces, and each HOURGLASS includes a holographic label verifying its edition number and authenticity.
